Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities 50th Anniversary Golf Outing, June 24th 2019
The CBCC is a volunteer organization started by Marv
Samuel then overseen by Billy Pierce. It is comprised of
former and current professional athletes, members of
the Chicago sports media and the corporate community.
Since its inception in 1970, the Charities has raised over
$16 million for cancer patient care, education and research
programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann &
Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago along with
support to Camp One Step, Children’s Oncology Services.
